China–US Business Tools builds practical, transparent tools that make the numbers behind China–US trade easier to understand — without accounts, without cost, and without sending your data anywhere.
Our mission
Importing from China involves a pile of costs that are easy to underestimate: freight, insurance, customs duty, additional tariffs, harbor and handling fees, and the margin you need to stay in business. The goal of this site is to put those numbers in one place so you can plan with confidence instead of guessing.
What we build
Our calculators cover the most common planning questions:
- China → US Import Cost Calculator — landed cost per unit, end to end.
- China Tariff Calculator — duty, additional tariffs, and surcharges from your rates.
- Amazon FBA China Profit Calculator — profit after FBA fees, referral fees, and inbound shipping.
- China Manufacturing Cost Calculator — unit cost from materials, labor, and overhead.
More tools are planned and added over time.
How our tools work
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The math is a self-contained module with no server involved, which keeps the pages fast and the hosting simple. The rates that drive the results — duty percentages, tariff rates, exchange rates, fees — are values you enter as estimates. We deliberately do not invent current tariff rates or live exchange rates; the only default is a clearly labelled example exchange rate that you should replace with today's figure.
Private by design
Because the calculators run on your device, the numbers you type are not uploaded to us. There are no accounts and no backend database. You can use every tool without saving anything; if you save a scenario, it stays in your own browser's local storage on your device.
Accuracy and responsibility
The tools produce estimates for planning. They are not legal, customs, tax, or financial advice. Before acting on a number, confirm the applicable duties, tariffs, taxes, and fees with official US government sources (U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. International Trade Commission) or a qualified professional.
