Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of China–US Business Tools(the “site”), including its calculators and content. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

China–US Business Tools provides free, browser-based calculators that estimate costs and figures related to trade between China and the United States — such as landed import cost, tariffs and duties, Amazon FBA profit, and manufacturing cost. All calculations run on your device.

The site provides estimates for informational and planning purposes only. It is not legal, customs, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and it does not create an adviser–client relationship. Rates you enter (duty, tariff, surcharge, exchange rates, fees) are your own estimates; the site does not provide live or authoritative rate data.

You are responsible for verifying applicable duties, tariffs, taxes, fees, and shipping with official sources — such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. International Trade Commission — or with a qualified professional before making any business, import, or financial decision.

You must not rely on the site as your sole basis for any business, import, pricing, sourcing, or financial decision. Any decision you make using the site's outputs is made entirely at your own discretion and risk.

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the calculators are accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free, or that results will be suitable for your particular purpose.

You acknowledge and agree that the calculators and estimates are provided for convenience and high-level planning only, and that they may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You expressly assume all risk associated with using the site and its outputs, including the risk that a figure is wrong or unsuitable for your situation.

You further acknowledge that China–US Business Tools is not a party to any transaction you undertake, and that any profit, loss, or other outcome of your business activities is entirely your own responsibility. The site does not guarantee any business result, cost, price, margin, or return.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, China–US Business Tools, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates shall have no liability whatsoever for any damages or losses arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the site or its outputs. This includes, without limitation:

• any business loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, or loss of business opportunity;
• any trading, sourcing, pricing, or commercial loss, or any loss on a transaction you entered into;
• any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; and
• any decision made, or action taken or not taken, based on the site's estimates.

In no event shall China–US Business Tools's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site exceed the amount of zero (US$0.00). Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless China–US Business Tools, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the site, your reliance on its outputs, or any business decision or transaction you make based on them.

The site's content, design, code, and calculators are owned by China–US Business Tools or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the calculators and their outputs for your own internal planning and decision-making. You may not republish, redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the site or present it as your own.

You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by attempting to disrupt or overload it, scraping it at volume, circumventing its functionality, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may block access if we believe the site is being abused.

The site may link to third-party websites, including government sources. Those links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Their own terms and policies apply.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted here, with the “Last updated” date shown above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
